This course is designed for students new to firearms and provides an in-depth explanation regarding functions of modern pistols and revolvers. We will discuss:

• mechanical function
• differences between revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
• best practices for  safe handling
• caliber and ammunition considerations
• proper loading, unloading, and storage

Carrying a firearm for personal  protection is a huge responsibility and requires changes in how you  conduct yourself in public settings. One must consider their choice of  clothing, how to carry on-person, prohibited places where firearms aren’t allowed, and balancing firearm availability with comfort. In this class we dive  deep into considering suitable strategies that would work for you and  your family. 

Everyone should feel safe in their home and this course is designed to help the student develop a practical solution with tactical distribution.

In this course we will discuss the latest innovations in home security, develop action plans for each family member, and establish deterrents the most dedicated criminal would avoid. 

At completion the student will have gained the knowledge and confidence to feel comfortable, prepared, and secure in their place of residency.

So you’ve obtained your concealed carry permit and are carrying a firearm responsibly. Have you considered the implications involving the use of force in a self-defense situation? We discuss situational awareness, conflict avoidance, the skillset of critical thinking, self-defense alternatives, physiological responses, aspects of the law, and post-situational conduct.
